1.        Is this one OK? 这个行吗？  这里one 作代词，代替前面提到的同一类人或物。其复数形式是ones
I  don’t have a pen. Could you lend me one?我没有钢笔，你能借我一只吗？
Here is a baby panda and there are also a few old ones over there?
这又一只熊猫宝宝而且那边还有几只年长的熊猫
2.  I bet you’ll look cool and feel cool with nothing on?  我敢打赌你一丝不挂将会看起来很酷而且感觉酷
With nothing on 是介词with + 复合结构 表示行为方式或伴随状态
eg.  Horses are standing with their eyes closed
The boy ran out with nothing on./with the bedroom light on.
3.rainy 形容词“有雨的,多雨的“   rain 动词”下雨“或名词  ”雨，雨水“
e.g.明日有雨.   It will be rainy tomorrow =There will be rain tomorrow=It will rain tomorrow
好大一场雨！我们要进入雨季了。What a heavy rain! We are getting into the rainy season now.
熟记：sun—sunny   fog—foggy   wind—windy   cloud—cloudy   
4. It is the best time to play football outside.户外踢球的最佳时间
It is the best time to do sth. 表示做某事的最佳时间相当于It is the best time for doing sth
e.g.  春天是植树的最佳时节  It is the best time to plant trees in spring=It’s the best time for planting trees.
5.        Winter days are full of snow
“full “ 形容词，作定语或表语，意思是：满，充满，饱了。be full of=be filled with 意思是：充满…，装满了…  e.g.  The zoo is full of children on Children’s Day.   I am full so I don’t want to eat anything more.
6.        And the birds fly far away.鸟儿飞到远方。
a)        far away 意为“遥远”，用作表语或状语，away 可以省略，即：far away=far
其后不接宾语。e.g.   They do not live far away
b)        若表示“离….远”则用“far away from…”或“far from…” e.g.  My school is far (away) from my sister’s.
(3)若有具体数字则不用far     .e.g.  The nearest cinema is about 500 metres away from here.
7.        As the days are shorter and the temperature drops随着天变短，气温降低。
（1）        as 连词“随着“ 接句子 .
e.g. 随着时间的流逝，我们彼此越来越互相了解  As time went by, we learn more and more about each other.
(2).temperature 名词，意为：温度，气温，体温。
你感冒了，最好去量量体温。You have a cold and had better take your temperature.
温度的高低用 low /high 如：  The temperature is getting higher and higher.温度越来越低。
(3). drop 动词：意为“下落，下降，掉落” 过去式：dropped  现在分词dropping.
e.g. 天气将更冷，如果气温下降到零度。  It will be even colder if the temperature drops to zero
他从自行车上跌下来摔断了左腿      He dropped off from his bike and broke his left leg.
你拼写difficult这个单词时，漏掉了一个“i“。
You dropped an “i” in your spelling of the word “difficult”.
8.        Birds and butterflies play among  flowers.蜜蜂和蝴蝶在花丛中嬉戏。
（1）        among “在…之中“ 主要用于三者或三者以上 其宾语往往是复数。E.g.
  New York is  among the largest cities in the world.   纽约市是世界上最大的几个城市之一。
  They hid themselves among the trees.他们躲在树林中。
（2）“between “ 表示两者之间其宾语是表示两者的名词或代词/或是由and 连接的两个人或物。
E.g.:  Can you tell the difference between the twins? 你能区别那对双胞胎之间的差异？
The activity usually takes place between the second lesson and the third one.
这项活动通常在第二三节课之间举行。
9. .Then the autumn leaves turn brown.  然后秋天的树叶变黄。
“turn “ “变得“ 用作联系动词常接形容词
看到这个她的脸红了。Her face turned red when she saw this.
熟记下列词组：  向左转/右转turn left/right     打开(电器)turn on 关掉turn off    关小/调低turn down
10.        How do people feel on a hot summer afternoon?
On a hot summer afternoon 意为“在一个夏日的下午”。
当morning/afternoon/evening被形容词/名词修饰时，介词用on  .         
.e.g.  The story happened on a rainy morning.故事发生在一个下雨的早晨。
The accident happened on a Sunday morning.事故发生在一个周日的早晨。
语法：
1.Mum was making breakfast for me when I woke up this morning .当我醒来时，妈妈在为我做早餐。
Woke up 动词短语，意为 “把…叫醒/ 唤醒”.明天早晨7点把他叫醒
Please wake him up at seven tomorrow morning.
Tom, 醒醒.到了起床的时间了。Wake up,Tom! It’s time to get up.
2.询问天气如何的句型：
----How ‘s the weather in Beijing? =What is the weather like in Beijing?
----It’s snowy/cloudy/windy/foggy/very hot/cold.
3.rest 其余的部分/人
我们将吃一点儿面包，剩下的留到早饭吃。We will eat some of the bread and keep the rest for breakfast.
The rest 修饰可数名词谓语动词用复数反之谓语动词用单数形式。
Some of the students are on the playground while the rest are on the playground.
I drank only a little of the water and the rest was for you.
