教学目标：

2.        能够理解、会读、会运用新授单词： soft drink 及sleepy,  新授句型You look …,  I’ve got …,及What a …!
3.        知道字母T及V在单词中的发音
4.        会演唱歌曲What’s the matter?

ⅠFree talk
①        T: Hello,… How are you?  
S: Fine, thanks./ Not so good…
   T: What’s the matter?
   S: I’m …
   T: Don’t worry. Here’s a … for you. / Come and have some… / Why don’t you …?
( If some students say they’re thirsty, give them some soft drink and teach: soft drink )
Ⅱ Revision and game
1.        Well, while we’re greeting each other, we used these sentences.
(point to the sentences on the blackboard and ask the students to read them together, review the sentences.)
2.        Now, shall we play a game using the sentences on the blackboard?
( show how to play this game with one of the students)
( Choose one of the cards and have a look.
S: What’s the matter?

T: No, I don’t want it. / Bingo, you’re right! Thank you. So this card is for you.
3. The students play this game in groups.

S: He’s Mr Tiger.
   T: Yes, read after me: t, t, tiger.
T: Good. What has the tiger got?

( The teacher click the things and show the words according to the answers of the students. Then read the word: tie, vest and violin. )
T: So we know that the letter T is often pronounced as ——[ t ]. And the letter V is often pronounced as ——[ v ]. (可加中文引导 )
3. Now, look at this picture read these words. Then can you complete this sentence?

4． Show the answer according to the answer of the students. Read the sentences.
Ⅳ Part F
1.        T: Well, the tiger has so many things. So it looks happy. And here comes some other friends. Look, who are they?
Ss: They’re Mike, Bobby and Yang Ling.
2.        T: Well, first, let’s look at Mike. ( Show a picture of Mike. ) Is Mike happy?
Ss: Yes.
T: So you may say this sentence to him.
( Show and teach the sentence: You look … )
3.        T: Why is Mike so happy? Well, let me tell you. He has got something new. What is it? Let’s listen.  ( Listen to the text twice)

5.        OK! Open your English books and turn to page 73. First read after me.
6.        T: Read the text by yourselves.
7.        T: Now I am Mike. You’re Dad. Let’s read.
8. T: Now you can try to act this dialogue. I want someone to come here.

1. T: OK. Boys and girls, Now we know Mike is happy because of his new car. But look, is Bobby happy? You can ask him.
Ss: What’s the matter, Bobby?
T:( Click- woof ) Let’s try again.
Ss: What’s the matter, Bobby?
T:( Click- woof ) Oh, I know now! Bobby is a little dog. He can only say WOOF. We can’t understand Bobby. But don’t worry, Liu Tao will come and help Bobby. Now let’s watch the cartoon.

2.        T: Open your workbook. Turn to page 38. Write this sentence down.
3.        T: There are some other pictures. Please write the answers down.
4.        Check the answer.
Ⅶ Sing a song
1 T: Well, you all did a good job. And look, is this boy happy? (show a boy)
   S: No.
   T: Let’s ask him together and try to help him.
   Ss: What’s the matter?
