【教学目标】

（一）知识目标

  1.学生能流利地朗读公共标志的单词：Nosmoking，No littering,No parking, Danger, No eating or drinking, wet floor.

2. 进一步巩固掌握句型：What does it/this sign mean? It means……  

3. 了解字母组合ir在单词中的发音。

  4. 了解各个国家对“地铁”的不同叫法。

（二）能力目标

1. 通过本课的学习，让学生能够看懂一些极其常见的公共标志，并能用英语进行询问极其描述。

2. 了解字母组合ir在单词中的发音。

（三）情感目标

     通过学习公共标志常识，加强社会公德教育，提高学生自身的文明素养

【教学重点】

      掌握谈论公共标识的问答句型和常用文字标识句型，即No+doing(动名词)结构

【教学难点】

       1. 立足于Fun time中的内容，灵活运用所学句型与他人进行询问及其描述。

PPT课件、图片等。

【课前先学】

1. Fillin the blanks.  （根据课文内容，将表格填写完整）

Presentation & Practice    Grammar time    1.Check the  answers.    2.  play a game “super bomb”    T: Look at these new signs.      Guess , what do these signs mean?    S:……    T: It means you can be quiet. (呈现be quiet/ keep off the grass/ No pets/  No cameras….，引导学生自主发现公共文字标识的构成规则，为自己设计制作标识做准备)    Rules: No+动名词/名词           祈使句           名词    Fun time    1.        T:  Now, we know a lot of signs, so let’s play a game. Take out your paper,  please ask and answer with your classmates by using “ what does the sign  mean? It means……    Eg: S: Look at sign 1. What does it  mean?        S2: It means you can’t fish.        S1: Yes!......    Sound  time    T: Can you read them correctly?    (1) Find out the same part “ir”    (2) Read after the tape.    (3) Sum up the pronunciation of “ir”.    (4) Have a competition    (5) Present some other words includes /ǝ:/  and read.        (first, thirsty, thirty……)    Check the third learning aim and tick.    Culture time    (Introduce  the metro in different countries).    Look and match    T: What’s this?  metro    In the UK, people call the metro “underground”    In the US, people call the metro “subway”    Read them.    T: Look,  there are so many names of metro. First, let's see them together.        Now, what  can you find of them?    S: There are different names of metro in different  countries.    T: Yes, for example, in Beijing, people call the metro  “subway”……..    Step  3. Production    1.        Make  a sign album.                标识 Sign:          Place: Meaning:	学生小组讨论预习先学中的表格内容，然后根据表格尝试复述课文，小组人人参与，可以每人复述1-2句。             学生组内校对并朗读预习先学中的第二项作业(导学案P43二)，互相纠正发音，教师可以从旁帮助。       利用课件快速闪现公共标识的图片，要求学生一见到图片，便快速大声地说出标识名称：若看到弹出的炸弹，则迅速趴下躲避。期间要注意学生litter/ smoking 的发音。       教师向学生拓展介绍生活中其他常见的公共标识，在此基础上引导学生小组合作，自主探究，发现构成的规律。             设计两个不同版本的标识九宫格图，其中同桌两个人拿到的是不同的版本，双方爽法通过轮流回答what does the sign mean? It means……来找出这两处不同。这个游戏有效利用了”信息差“，让学生最大限度地运用目标语言，玩中学，学中玩。                让发音较好的学生做示范，其余学生边听边体会字母组合ir的发音。       学生自己总结归纳整理其他含有字母组合ir且读音为/ ǝ:/的单词并且读一读，体会发音规则。                      教师多媒体呈现中国与多个国家的地铁及相对应名字，让学生发现每个国家的地铁名字都有所不同，并从而了解英国和美国的地铁名称。             鼓励学生关注公共场所的标识，然后通过询问师长、查阅字典、上网搜索等方式获取他们的英文含义，教师将学生收集来的标识做成一本Sign album.
