功能目标：
1、引导学生初步掌握单词的发音规律，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略。
2、学生熟练掌握there be 结构的一般疑问句，培养学生观察、思维、空间想象能力及运用英语进行交流的能力。
情感目标：
1、能够让学生在学习活动中体验到成功与自信，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，逐渐养成自主学习英语的习惯。
2、注重培养学生的合作精神，在这一过程中能够让学生大胆地参与语言交际的活动。

2、联系实际生活，运用所学的日常交际用语及句型进行交流的能力。

Step1: Warming-up
T: Hello, boys and girls!
S: Hello, Miss Wang!
T: Nice to meet you!
S: Nice to meet you, too!

Step2: Presentation and practice
1、T：Today is the first day of the new term. All the students are back at school. We are happy to see each other again.
T：Look , there are some new words for you. Can you read and guess?
Teach:     the first day    new term     at school     each other   
（直接引用前言部分的句子作为开头，符合当时的实际情况，而且过渡自然。）
2、T：We will learn English in this new classroom. Are you happy?
   S: Yes.
T：What’s in our new classroom?
   S: There is a TV in the classroom.

     （Ask one buy one.）
T：Is there a TV/ a computer in the classroom?
   S: Yes, there is. No, there isn’t.
   T：Are there any desks/bookcases in the classroom?
   S: Yes, there are. No, there aren’t.
（由于在四年级已学过there be 结构，所以利用旧知进行导出一般疑问句形式。以旧引新，学习新知，符合小学生学习的规律。）
3、T：What’s in our school?
   S: There are three buildings in our school.
   S: There is a park in our school.
T: What’s in the building?
   S: There is a dining room in the building.  
   S: There is a reading room/ table tennis room in the building.
T: How many rooms are there in the building?
   S: There are ----.
Teach:  a reading room/ table tennis room

（课前让学生做好预习工作，通过这一设问来引导学生说出生词building、reading room等，同时检查学生的预习情况，培养学生良好的预习习惯。）
4、Let the students make a new dialogue with the new words and the sentence.
（通过小组合作学习，让学生将所学的新句型、词组编成新对话，培养是的创新能力、灵活运用知识的能力。）
5、T：What about their school? Please look and answer：Who are they?
   S: They are Wang Bing Helen and Mike.
1）T：What’s in their school? Listen and choose:
