Unit9 Shapes

一、教学目标:
1、听、说、读、写单词: a star, shape 听、说、读、单词a diamond, a rectangle, a triangle, a square, a circle 。
2、听、说、读、写句型What shape is the…? It's…和 How many…are there? There is/There are …
二、教学重点:
1、能熟练掌握每一种图形的读音。
2、能熟练掌握句型What shape is the…? It's…
                  
三、教学难点:
a diamond、 a rectangle、 a triangle的朗读及将所学习的单词用于生活中。
四、  教学准备:  多媒体课件、实物等。
五、  教学过程:
Step1. Warm up
Greetings: T: Hello, boys and girls! Ss: Hello, Miss Wu! T:
Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too!
Step2. Lead-in
1、Free talk
T: What can you see in the classroom?
S: I can see …
T: How many … are there in your classroom?
Ss: There are …
T: Boys and girls, do you like English?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: What can you do? (可提示:Can you …?) Oh, you can …, but I can draw. I can draw pictures on the computer. Let’s have a look, ok?(课件出示三幅图 〈让学生认一认 a boat, a tree, a cat〉)
T: What can you see in these pictures?
S1: I can see many shapes. (若学生答不出,帮助学生说shapes, 从而引出单词shape的教学,出示单词卡 shape 形状 )
2、学生齐读shape,开火车读(师作朗读指导 she / shape) T: Today,
we’ll learn Unit 9 shapes. (齐读课题,板贴)
Step 3 Presentation
1.        circle
T: Now let’s learn some shapes. Look, what shape is it?(点击课件,出示circle) 师手拿单词卡片,领读单词 circle, circle(Ss read row by row) T: What’s this in English?
S2: It’s a cake T:What shape is it?
S3: It’s a circle. T: Very good, I’ll give you a star.(并请该生跟师读一读,a star) 再请全班同学说一说。
2、triangle
T: I have three pencils, boys and girls can you make a shape? Come here and show us how to do it.
T: What shape is it?
S3: It’s a triangle.
T: (点击课件,出示triangle, 学生跟读两遍 师领读手拿单词卡 注意音标) 师做手势,请学生跟读,tri- tri -tri- angle -angle–angle, triangle, triangle
T:We have learned bicycle. And tricycle. 三轮车. So tri means “三” . What is ‘angle’? 教师用书角做解释。What’s this?(师出示大三角尺的刻度边)
S4: It’s rule.
T: What shape is it? S4: It’s a triangle. T: Very good, you can get a star, too.(同样请该生读一读 a star )
3、Square
T:( 事先准备好一个由正方形折得的三角形,师手拿该图形)
What shape is it?(展开再问)
S5: It’s  a  square.(贴黑板上)(学生若答不出,请学生问老师,提前出示句型What shape is it) (pass and say) 课件出示该单词,教读。
T: Have ever been to Beijing? Do you know Tiananmen Square?(学生操练ask and answer one by one, group by group)
T: I have a clock, what shape is it?
S6: It’s a square.
4、rectangle
T: (拿长方形) Is it a square? Is it a triangle?
S7: No, it’s a rectangle.
find?(贴黑板上) 课件下方出示angle, 角,角落,请学生跟读2遍,ask: What shape is it?
Ss: It’s a rectangle.
师做手势,请学生跟读, rec- rec -rec- tangle-tangle–tangle, rectangle, rectangle
T: Can you find some rectangles in our classroom?(师适当提示:I can find, look, the window is a rectangle.)(请全班学生问:What shape is the …? 贴板书)
S8:the … is a rectangle. 指名答,答完一齐说rectangle. rectangle. the …is a rectangle.(说的过程中奖star)
5、diamond 出示钻石的图片
T: What’s this? It’s a diamond. Do you like diamonds? I like diamonds. (出示菱形图片) What shape is  it?
S9: It’s a diamond. 教读单词(出示几样实物操练)学生ask and answer(奖 star)
6、star
T直接出示单词卡片What shape is it?
S10: It’s a star.
T: Do you have any stars?
Ss: Yes.
T: Please show me your stars and say star.
(要求拼读) 说句子: Star, star, the star is a star. (15’)
7.Have a rest
Listen to a song < twinkle twinkle little star. >
Step4. Look and read
1、Look and say.(跟课件看读)  
2、做动作说单词。(Let’s do and say)
T做动作画各种形状并ask :What shape is it?
Ss answer.It’s a ….
Step5. Practice 1
1、承上游戏,出示课件C ask and answer小组操练
2、Ss use their own objects to practice .
A:What shape is the…?(学生自带各种形状的物品)
B: It’s a ….                 
Step6 Practice 2
1、Do some exercises(课件出示 look and complete)
内容如下:
一、        Look, read and complete:
A: Look, I can make a picture. (小鱼图片) look at here ,what's this?
S:It's a fish.
T:Great!There are a lot of shapes.Can you see?
S:Yes, we can.
T:Can you tell me,how many shapes are there?
S:There are five.
B: Are there any (shape / shapes) in the picture?
A:Yes, there’s a (circle / circles),two (diamonds/ square), two (rectangles / rectangle),.
B: It’s a fish! It’s nice.
A: Thank you!
二、同上出示其他由图形拼成的动物,如:房子,小鸟等,让学生操练: What shape is it? How many … are there? There are…
1.S-S  自己操练
2.Ss根据图站起来表演句型
三、Look, read and fill in the blanks.
2、请学生读一读,做一做,校对答案,师领读.
3、T: Now let’s look at the blackboard. How many stars are there in Group 1? … Good, Group … is the winner! Congratulation! (Ss clap their hands.)
Step7. Homework.
1、Draw a picture using the shapes we have learned today, and then make a dialogue.
2、Preview Part A. (listen, look, read)
