会课教案Unit8 At the weekends (Period1)

教材简析:
    本课时是牛津小学英语5B第八单元的第一课时。学习四个可爱的昆虫单词是本课时的一个教学重点。其次,要引导学生掌握日常交际用语:How do you spend your weekends? 及其回答。由于农村小学生的周末生活相对单调,因此给本课的教学带来了一定的难度。在本课时中,笔者利用巧妙的构思,丰富多彩的多媒体课件为学生呈现了一个动态又有趣的英语课堂。
一、        教学内容
牛津小学英语5B Unit8  At the weekends  Period1
二、        教学目标
1.        技能
a.        四会单词:ant, bee, butterfly, weekend, often, very, learn---from, talk, sport, catch.
b.        四会日常交际用语:How do you spend your weekends? I ofen ---.Sometimes I ---.
c.        三会日常交际用语:I can learn a lot from it.
   2. 情感:
a.        激发学生热爱自然及小动物的感情。
b.        培养学生利用因特网获取信息的能力。
三、        教学重点
1.        单词:buterfly, dragonfly, bee, ant.
2.        日常交际用语:How do you spend your weekends? I ofen               ---.Sometimes I ---.
四、        教学难点
   农村小学生周末生活相对单调,给本课教学带来一些难度。
五、        教学准备:
多媒体课件ppt, 两份表格。
六、教学过程:
Step1Free talk
1.T: Class begins.
  Greetings.
2.Free talk
a.        What day is it today?
b.        What do you usually do on Saturdays or Sundays? (That’s f un/interesting)
   Do you do it every Saturday and Sunday?
   Yes/ No ( Oh, sometimes.) (T—S1,S2)
c. Boys and girls, what do you usually do at the weekends?(在周末你通常做些什么?)
   I usually------
   Teach: weekend 周末
         At the weekends(在周末)
(设计意图: 简单的问候,营造良好的英语交际氛围。通过询问学生周末经常做什么,以旧带新,导入新课。)

Step 2 Presentation
1.        T: I like sports very much.
Teach: I like sports.(我喜欢运动) How about you?(简单讨论)
At the weekends, I often go running, go climbing and play basketball.
How do you spend your weekends? You can answer: I often----
   T--S1,S2
   Teach: often 经常
 How do you spend your weekends? (你周末怎么过?)
Teach: spend 消磨,度过
(出示若干表示动作的图片,人机对话,让学生根据图片操练问句.)
(设计意图:在呈现及操练新的日常交际用语时,教师要尽可能创设真实的、有意义的情境。采用人机对话的方式,学生在“信息沟”的驱动下,操练的效果往往能“事半功倍”。)

   How do you spend your weekends? (你周末怎么过?)

3.T: Their weekends are so interesting. How about your weekends? Talk about it with your deskmates. You may use these key words:
Do housework, watch TV, go shopping, surf the Internet, draw pictures, listen to the music, play basketball, go to the park, catch insects

(设计意图:实践证明:学生掌握语言必须循序渐进,方能水到渠成。从书本上的图片操练扩展到实际的生活,才能真正体现语言的交际功能。)
4.T: At the weekends, I often do sports. Sometimes I sure the Internet.
Do you like to surf the internet?
Is it interesting? It’s very very interesting.Do you think so?
Teach: very
It’s interesting, and it’s useful. I can learn a lot from it. Learn English, learn Maths and so on.

T: Last weekends, I surfed the internet, and learned something about the insects. Do you want to have a look?
(出示昆虫群图)

5. Look, the little bear likes the insects very much. He is catching insects.
出示图片teach: catch.
6. Look at the picture. What is the girl doing? She’s catching insects.
  Teach:catch insects
7.Which insect? Look, it’s a butterfly! Is it beautiful?
Teach: butterfly, butterflies
8. Teach: dragonfly
  Chant:
dragonfly, dragonfly, there is a dragonfly.
dragonfly, dragonfly, dragonfly flies high.
9. Teach: bee
  读音归类 Have a try!

a.What’s missing?
b.Guessing game

(设计意图:在学习新的昆虫单词时,教师有意识地将色彩绚丽的图片,chant, 谜语以及读音归类融为一体,使单词教学形象化、游戏化、有趣化,符合小学生的认知规律。)
13. Listen to a song: We know
Step3 Read and say
1.        T: Who are they? (Helen,Mike,WangBing)
⑴出示两个问题:
a.        When is it?
b.        What are they talking about? Teach: talk about谈论
⑵ 听课文第一段录音2遍。
⑶ Listen and tick.
⑷ 校对。
⑷ 朗读。
2.出示表格 Listen and tick.
   a.T: How do they spend their weekends? Please listen and tick.
( 教师课前将表格发给每位学生)

(设计意图:在小学高年级的英语学习过程中,阅读理解是一项十分重要的能力。在平时的对话教学中,我们应着重培养学生的阅读能力。鼓励学生带着问题有针对性地听录音,必将有力地推动其听力水平和阅读能力的不断提高。)

已经上了吗?我觉得课的容量的确很大。我的学生对于新的单词都不能读的很转,你在上这一课之前是不是开了小灶。我觉得提供key words是个很有效的方法,让学生有话可说。但是这整个设计还有待重新思考。我觉得你的基本句型学生练习的还不够,没有真实的语言环境中去练习加深巩固。学生肯定忘记的也快。

整体不错,但感觉容量有点大,对于句型的学习深度还不是很够

此外,想请教一个问题,这一单元的单词和句型的联系不是很紧密,不知该如何融合到一起。我们这没有多媒体,我觉得catch  insects不晓得怎么引入,谢谢
