4Bunit 9 Breakfast
一、教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词 a knife, a plate, a glass, a cup, a fork, a bowl, chopsticks, bread, a cupboard
2、能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写句型Where’s the ……? It’s ……  
Where are the……?  They’re ……
3、能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语 What's for breakfast?

二、教学重难点
1.bowl,chopsticks,cupboard的发音
2. Where be句型的准确问答

三、教学具准备
ppt、单词图片、一些餐具及食品。

四、教学过程
(一)Sing a song:
欣赏歌曲《This is the way》
First ,let’s enjoy a song《This is the way》.歌曲结束,老师以同样的曲调接着唱:This is the way I have breakfast, have breakfast, have breakfast. This is the way I have breakfast, so early in the morning.以此引出课题:Today let’s talk about something about breakfast.
Ok, let’s begin our class. Class begins.与学生打招呼 Good morning ,boys and girls.

(二)Free talk:
当学生因不知教师姓名,而不知如何回答时,教师自我介绍道Ah, oh. I’m new here. So first, I should introduce myself. My English name is Lily. L, i, l, y, Lily. Hello ,boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Lily.
You are students. And what’s my job?
Ss: You are a teacher.
Of course. I’m a teacher. I’m your new English teacher today. I have many hobbies. I like drawing. Do you like drawing?介绍画画这一爱好,以简笔画的形式进入glass, cup的学习。

(三)Presentation:
1.Look, what am I drawing? Yes, it’s a glass .. 学glass
What’s this then?为玻璃杯添上一个柄, Is this a glass now? Yes, it’s a cup. 学cup
说I drink milk and juice with the glass .I drink coffee and tea with the cup.以示区别
2.继续简笔画引出plate,学plate
We’ve learned late, so how to read this one? 由late到plate,以旧带新.
Mr plate has two good friends. They’re Mr knife and Mr fork. 通过介绍M r plate 的两个好朋友,学knife, fork
插入西餐饮食知识:When we eat western food ,we always use these things. But how? Please look at me. Right hand, it’s a knife. Left hand, it’s a fork. Show me your hands. Follow me. knife, knife, it’s a knife; fork, fork, it’s a fork. 用chant形式介绍刀叉在西餐中的使用方法。
检测:What’s in your right hand? What’s in your left hand? Good, you can have western food now.
3.同上引出bowl
因ow发音与oh相同,故结合组词形式,编了chant: I can say oh, oh, a red bowl, what can you say?
Mr bowl also has a good friend. Who is it? Guess from the riddle: Two brothers long and thin.
Two legs cannot walk. Taste food everyday.
You can guess in Chinese. Yes, it’s Mr chopsticks. 通过猜谜形式介绍M r bowl的好朋友chopsticks。学chopsticks
When we eat Chinese food, we need ……When we eat Eastern food, we need……以此对比中西方餐饮区别
4.Oh, look, Mr plate and Mr bowl are very sad. Why? Listen,听碗和盆对话配音
Mr plate: Where’s the knife?
Mr bowl: Where are the chopsticks?
Oh, they can’t find their good friends. let’s help them, ok?
板书Where’s the ……?
It’s ……  
Where are the……?  
They’re ……   
进入句型教学
找到后,伴着配乐进行chant: knife, knife, where’s the knife?
table, table, it’s on the table.
                         chopsticks, chopsticks, where are the chopsticks?
table, table, they’re on the table.
I can chant like this, can you? Ready? Go!
This time I ask you answer., OK?
Exchange, you ask and I answer.
Oh, we’ve found the knife and the chopsticks. what about the other tablewares? Look, they’re in the kitchen. 找厨房中其他物品来巩固操练这一句型
This time let’s make a chant:
…, …, where’s the …?
…, …, it’s ……
…, …, where are the …?
…, …, they’re …
将厨房图片截取成几小图,由学生分别根据图片自编chant
示范,操练,展示
5.Is everyone here now? Let’s have a roll call. 以点名这一形式来复习所学餐具单词。事先在课中将餐具头套作为奖励发放给学得认真的同学。老师则带上玻璃杯头套先做示范Glass, glass, two times. Ready, go! I’m here. Oh, where’s the knife? Yeah, you are the knife. So you should stand up and say I’m here.指出chopsticks,用where are问, 用we’re here答.
点完名Everyone is here now. Let’s put them into a cupboard. 引出cupboard
6.I like drawing, just now ,I drew a glass, a cup and so on. 介绍另一爱好And I like playing games with my students. Do you want to play with me?
Do you know Liu qian? He’s good at performing magic. Me, too. Now, look carefully. 由此进行魔术表演:what’s missing?
Yes, you can also say there’s no…on the table.通过变魔术渗透There’s no句型
7.I like playing games with my students, and I like cooking., because I like delicous food. I like bread. 学bread
通过调查What food do you like? What drink do you like? Do you often have…for breakfast?了解学生喜爱的食物饮料及早餐情况
出示大量美食图片So many delicious things. Today I had some of them for breakfast. 学breakfast
Do you want to know what I have for breakfast? Ok, you can ask me like this :Lily, what’s for breakfast? Who can?
请三位学生问,老师分别在三人旁耳语一种食物an egg, a sandwich, a carton of milk
接着再由全体学生问他们Then you ask him, together. So what’s for my breakfast?
这种通过讲悄悄话和传悄悄话的方式操练句型的方式能扩大操练广度,激发学生好奇心,使课堂活跃起来。

(四)Consolidation:
And what’s for Helen’s breakfast? 过渡到课文学习:
1.Helen提了许多的问题,请快速粗略阅读课文,找出问句,并划下来。
Have you finish it? 倒计时20秒。
Ok, the first question is:Mum, what’s for breakfast?
Then:Where’s my glass?
The third one is:Where are the eggs?
And:Where’s the milk?
Great, let’s read the questions together. Twice, please.
2.让我们带着问题来听录音找答案吧!
Ok, now ,please listen to the radio ,and find the answers one by one.
第一问what’s for Helen’s breakfast?,听,回答,跟读.
后三问where are they? 听,连线,分角色读.
3.What happened later?看最后一插图动画,模仿读.
4. 观看动画,解决What’s for Helen’s breakfast at last?这一难题。
5.Ok.now please open your books, Let’s follow the tape.
This time ,let’s read in roles. You are Helen, I’m Mum. Ok?
(五)Summary:
Today, we’ve learned a lot .What have you learnt today?由学生自己说说学到的单词或句型或背景知识
Have you got it? Let me have a check.
你想问别人盘子在哪里,你说:
对方如果知道它在橱柜里,他会说:
你想问别人几把叉子在哪里,你说:
对方如果知道它们在课桌上,他会说:
教师总结:询问物品在哪里用Where’s/ Where are …? It’s/ They’re …询问别人早餐吃什么说What’s for breakfast?
承接breakfast, 补充介绍了一些其他常用的早餐食物,如porridge粥,wonton馄饨, steamed bread馒头等
最后送句话Have breakfast everyday. It’s good for your health.并提出希望学生每天吃早饭,合理饮食的期望。

(六)Homework
1.调查同学家人的早饭情况
2.跟着录音读课文
