3A Unit  9
Teaching Contents:
Words: a door ,a window ,a box ,a basket ,a light ,a  TV, a tap ,a walkman .
Drills: Close /Open …; Turn on /off …. All right /Ok
Teaching Aims:
1.能听懂、会说Close /Open …; Turn on /off …及其应答语All right /Ok等。
2.能听懂、会说常见物品:a door ,a window ,a box ,a basket ,a light ,a  TV, a tap ,a walkman .
3.能使用简单的祈使句表达“请别人干某事”的意思及进行应答。
4.能听懂并有韵律地诵读歌谣Let’s learn  A B C.
Difficult Points:
1.能听懂、会说Close/Open …Turn on /off …及其应答语All right /Ok等。
2.能听懂、会说常见物品: a door ,a window ,a box ,a basket ,a light ,a TV, a tap , a walkman .
3.能使用简单的祈使句表达“请别人干某事”的意思及进行应答。

The first period
Teaching Contents:
PartB: door, box, window, basket;PartA:3.4两幅图
Teaching Procedures:
Step1:Greetings:
T: Good morning,  boys and girls!
S: Good morning, Miss Xiao
Step2:Free talk
T: How are you?
S: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too.
T: Let’s go to ……
S: Good/Great, but how?
T: By bike.
T:Look at…..
S: It’s ……
T: What’s this?
S:….
T :What colour is it?
S: It’s ……
Step3:Presentation:
T Shows a pencil-box and asks the students to guess
T: What’s in the pencil-box ?
S1: A pen?
S2: A rubber?…
T: Let’s open the pencil-box and have a look. OK? (Teach the word ‘open’)学生跟读单词数遍,边读边做打开的动作。
T: Let’s open the pencil-box.
Ss: All right.
T: Open the pencil-box
学生跟读数遍,边读边做打开铅笔盒的动作。
T Shows a box to the students
T: This is a box. (teach “box”)(box跟读,个别读)
教师打开盒子。教师引导学生说:“Open the box.”
T asks the students to make some phrases using “open”.
T:XX, please open your book.OK?
S:OK.
T:You can also answer me: all right.
Work in pairs like this:
SA: Open the book, please, ××.
SB: OK./All right.
T shows a basket to the students: Look, this is a basket. (teach “basket”)听口令做动作Open the book/box/pencil-box
T:XX,open the door,please.(教师指指门,引导学生去开门)
S1:OK.
T: XX,Open the door , please.
S: All right.
Teach the word ‘door’.
Teach the word ‘window’ in the same way.
教师做出很冷的样子,T: I’m cold, xx, please close the door)
Teach the word ‘close’.
T asks the students to make some phrases using close.
T: Boys and girls , please close your books.
S: OK./All right.
Play a game.(听口令做动作)
Open/Close the book./ box/ pencil-box./ door./window.
Part A:T: Boys and girls, please open your books at page 53.Let’s look at the first picture, who are they in the picture?
S :David and Mr Green..
T: Let’s listen to the tape to see what they are talking.
………
T asks the students to read after the tape.
T asks the students to read the dialogue after the T.
T asks the students to act the dialogue.
The same way to teach Picture4 on Page 53.
Step4: Homework:
Listen to the tape and read after the tape.(P53,54)

                        The Second period
Teaching Contents:
Words: tap, TV, Walkman, light.
Drills: Turn on the TV please .Turn off the light, please.及其应答语:All right, OK.
Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Greetings.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S1:Good morning, Miss Xiao
Step2: Free talk.
T: Let’s go to the…..       S:
T: Look at his/her/my…..   S:……
Step3:Revision Presentation
Play a game.(听口令做动作)
T:Open/Close the book./ box/ pencil-box./ door./window……..
T:(课前把教室的灯开好)XX,turn off the light, please.(指指灯,帮助学生完成其任务)
S1:All right. Teach the word“light”(light 跟读,开火车读)
T:(作关灯的动作) Turn off the light.
Teach the phrase“turn off”.(turn off跟读,开火车读)
教师引导学生说:”turn off the light,please”
T shows a picture.(图的一半被遮住)Guess, what is it?
S1:A pencil.S2: A book.…
T: Oh, it’s a tap. 教师引导学生说:“Turn off the tap,please.”
Practice:S1:Turn off the light/ tap, please.S2:Ok/All right.
T points to the TV: What’s this?
S:….
T: It’s a TV.
学生跟读TV, Turn off the TV.
Practice:S1:Turn off the TV, please.S2:Ok/All right.
T shows a Walkman to the students.
T: Look,this is a Walkman.
T: Who can turn on the Walkman?教师手指随身听,引导学生打开随身听)
Teach the word “Walkman” and the phrase “turn on”
学生跟读turn on, Turn on the light. Turn on the Walkman。
T: Oh, let’s go on our class. Let’s turn off the Walkman.
Practice: S: Turn on the…,please. S: OK/All right.
Work in pairs.一个学生表演动作,另一个学生说出句子。
T asks the students to open their books at Page 52.
T: Please look at the first picture, who are they?
S: Nancy, Mrs Black.
T: Let’s listen to the tape to see what they are talking.
T asks the students to read after the tape.
T asks the students to read the dialogue after the T.
T asks the students to act the dialogue.
The same way to teach Picture2 on Page 52.
Step5:Homework:
Listen to the tape of P52 and P54 and read after it.

The third period
Teaching contents:
Part DE(3)
Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Greetings:
T : Good morning, boys and girls!
S: Good morning, Miss Xiao!
Step2  Free talk presention
T: Let’s go to  …….. S:All right./OK, but how?
T:By bike./bus  …….
T: Turn on/off the TV /light….,please.         S:OK/All right.
T: Open/close the door /window  ….,please .   S:OK/All right.
T: What’s this/that? S: It’s a door,a light,a tap, a basket.
Step3:   Presentation(PartD)
show picture 1
T: Look at the picture, who are they?
S: Miss Li, Liu Tao and David.
T: What is Miss Li saying?
S1:Open the door, please.
T: What is David and Liu Tao saying?
S2:OK/All right.
T asks the students to act the dialogue.
Using the same method, T asks the students to make dialogues according to picture 2,3,4,5.
Part E:Say a rhyme: Let`s learn ABC.
1.        Listen to the tape.
2.        Read after the tape.
3.        Read after the Teacher.
4.        T asks some of the students to read the rhyme.
5.        Read the rhyme together.
Step 4 :Homework
1.Read and recite the dialogue of part A.
2.Read the words of part B
3.说歌谣给父母听。

The fourth period
Teaching Contents:Part C ,PartE(1,2)
Teaching Procedures:
Step1:Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
S: Good morning. Miss Xiao!
Step2: Free talk .
T: Let’s go to  …….. S:All right./OK, but how?
T:By bike./bus  …….
T: Turn on/off the TV /light….,please.         S:OK/All right.
T: Open/close the door /window  ….,please .   S:OK/All right.
T: What’s this/that? S: It’s a door,a light,a tap, a basket.
Step3:Presentation .(Part E)
Part E(1):
1. T asks the students to look at the pictures carefully and say the names of the things in English.
2. Listen to the tape and circle.
1. It’s a door.  2. It’s a box.  3. It’s a tap.  4. It’s a Walkman.   
5. It’s a jacket. 6. It’s a skirt.   7. It’s a car.   8. It’s a chair.                                 
3. Check the answer.
Part E(2)
T: Boys and girls , please look at the pictures and answer me some questions.
Picture1:T: What is it? S: It’s a door.
Picture2:T: What is it? S: It’s a plane.
Picture3: T: What is it? S: It’s a car.
Picture4:T: What is it? S: It’s a box.
Picture5:T: What is it? S: It’s a chair.
Picture6:T: What is it? S: It’s a window.
Part C: Teach the letters: Jj-Nn.
Step4: Homework:
1.复习Unit9.
2.抄写字母Jj-Nn
3.默写字母Aa-Nn.

                   The fifth Period
Teaching Contents:
1.复习巩固本单元句型及单词。
2.牛津小学英语练习与测试。
3.牛津小学英语补充习题。
4.评讲练习与测试,补充习题。
