B:Great! How do we go there?

A: Shall we go to… by(on)…?

Step 1: Greeting

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Nice to meet you!

Ss: Good afternoon. Nice to meet you, too.

T: Hi! What’s your name?

S: My name is ….

T: How old are you?

S: I’m  ….

T: Do you like English?

S: Yes./ No.

T: Do you like pandas?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK. Let’s go to the zoo by bike.

Ss: OK. Let’s go.

Step2: Presentation.

1.     T: Oh, I’m hungry. I want to buy some food. Shall we go to the supermarket?

Ss: OK.

Teach: supermarket. 分解发音

2.     T: Do you like reading?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: I like reading, too. Let’s go to the library.

Teach: library   libraries  分解发音，拼读

3.     T: Is this a cinema?

Ss: No.

T: It’s a theatre.

Teach: theatre      分解发音，拼读

4.     T：I’m ill. I’ve got a headache. I want to go to the hospital.

Teach: hospital    分解发音，拼读

5． T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a station.

Teach: station

5.     T:  Is this a station?

Ss: No. It’s an airport.

Step 3: Practice.

2.     Teacher say in English, Ss say in Chinese.

3.     Guess the places.  (课件出示，学生猜地点)

Step4. Presentation.

1.     T:(课件出示东方明珠图) Where is it?

Ss: It’s in Shanghai.

T: Let’s go to Shanghai.

Ss: Great!

T: But how do we go there? By train or by plane?

Ss: By train.

Teach: By train.

2.     T: (课件出示自由女神像) Where is it from?

Ss: It’s from the USA.

T: How do we go there? By train or by plane?

Ss: By plane.

3.     T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a taxi.

Teach: taxi , by taxi

4.     T: Is this a bus? Shall we go to Zhengjiang by bus?

Ss: OK.

T: Is this a bus ,too?

Ss: Yes./ No.

T: It’s a minibus.

Teach: minibus, by minibus

5.     T: We go to school from Monday to Friday.

How do you go to school every day?(问三、四个学生)

   Ss: ….

   T: I go to school on foot every day.

   Teach: on foot.
