第一课时
Step1 enjoy a song
1.T: First, let’s enjoy a song<<earth song>>
teach: earth
     
T: What’s on the earth?
S: There are……

2.Show the students some pictures of the song.
Talk about the pictures
T:The earth is very beautiful. It has clean water, clean air, a lot of trees and anmials. But now the good environment was destried. What can you see in the pictures?
S:  The elephent died.  The trees died.
The people are crying. Because they don’t have water.

T: Earth is our home.
Let’s pretect the earth.
Teach: pretect
Write  : Pretect the earth

Step2 presentation
1.        T:Earth is our home. What is useful for our earth?
Teach: useful
S: water/trees…… is/are useful.
T: Yes, water is useful. Why do you think so?
S(hints)…is useful.Because we use … to …
Teach: use… to…
Eg. …is useful.Because we use … to …
(在新授之前估计只有水和树是学生能马上回答的)
Look at the picure:  
We use water to clean our hands.
T: But the boy forget to turn off the tap. What do you want to say to him?
S:
(引出save water, don’t waste water.)teach: save , waste

2.        We must save water, save trees, What do we also need to save?let’s watch the cartoon. Please tells us “What is useful?” “What do we need to save?” .
Please find out what is useful? You can wrtie down the key words quickly.

3.        Now we all know we should pretect the earth. But how to pretect the earth?
(1)Talk about yourpartners.
(2)Now, open your English book, and fill in the blanks.
You can make a group with 4. Everyone choose one and finish it, please help each other.
