课题:8上Unit6 Reading1课型:New课时:第2课时

一、Teaching aims:
1、        读懂文章,了解扎龙自然保护区的基本情况。
2、 复习和拓展有关保护野生动物的词汇。
3、-学习根据上下文猜测单词意思的思维能力。
4、引导学生参加鸟类俱乐部,保护鸟类,保护自然。
二.Knowledge to prepare:
1、找出reading中重要的语言知识点(单词、短语、句型和语法),查词典和有关资料解释其意义及用法,举例句或例题。
2、 Free talk  Talk about some nature reserves in China ?
A: Do you know any nature reserves in China?
B:
两人一组,请尽量使对话长一些.
3、Go through the article.
1.Answer two questions
(1)Where is Zhalong Nature Reserve?                                   
(2)What kinds of animals live there?                                 
三.Teaching contents
一)、Guess the meanings of some new words.
二)、Finish Part B1 on Page 78 and remember them .
三)、Further Reading
1).Read the article again then finish Part C1 on Page 79.
2).Listen to the tape carefully and try to answer some questions.
(1) Why is it a great place for wildlife?                             
(2)Do lots of birds go there?                                         
(3)Why is there less and less space for wildlife?                     
(4)Why are more and more birds in danger?                             
(5)What are the members of  Birdwatching Club doing thisyear?         
(6)What do they do once a year?                                       
3). Finish Part B2 and Part C2.
四)、Get the students to complete the following table
