         Unit8  A camping trip  

            (The first period)

一、        Teaching contents:Part A

二、        Teaching aims:

1.     能听、说、读词汇 tent, tin, tin-opener, telescope ,blanket, stove, pot, camping trip , camping site

2.     能听、说、读、写词汇 children, show, hill, fish

3.     能听说读写句型 What do you have? I have……

                  What does he/ she have? He/ She has…..

                  What do they have? They have…….

4. 能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能熟练朗读对话。

三、        Important and difficult points:

1.     能正确掌握have, has的用法,能用不同人称的句型What do you have? What does he/ she have? What do they have? 向他人询问其拥有什么,并能正确应答。

2.    能在掌握对话内容的基础上表演对话。

四、        Teaching steps:

Step 1:Warming up

1.     Enjoy a song  “  What do you have? ”

2.     Greeting and warming up

T : Good morning, children.

Ss: Good morning , Miss Wei.

T: I’m very happy to be your English teacher today .Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you , too .

T: Wow , you have a beautiful pencil-box. How lovely!would  you please show your beautiful pencil-box to us?(借助手势让学生明白此句的意思)

S: Yes.

T: Thank you. You have a pencil-box and I have a bag. See?

T: I have a bag . What do you have ?

S: I have …(和三到五名同学对话,初步了解have的用法,欣赏歌曲后学生可以模仿回答)

Step2 :Lead in.

1.     Learn the sentences : What do you have? I have……

T:Just now, you showed your things to me. And I want to show the things in my bag to you .If you can ask me ,I’ll tell you .Can you ask me ?

S: What do you have ?

T: Great! I have a tent.

S: What do you have ?

T: The thing can help you open the tin. I have a –

T&Ss: tin-opener .(在对话中穿插学习三会单词)

2. Ask and answer in pairs.

S1: What do you have ?

S2: I have a schoolbag.

2.     Learn the sentences : What does he/ she have? He/ She has….

What do they have? They have……..

T:  What do you have?

S: I have a pencil sharpener.

T: Oh , *** has a pencil sharpener.

  What does *** have?

S: He has a pencil sharpener.

T: This weekend , My friend Peter and Ann will go camping with me.

  What do they have? What does Peter have? What does Ann have?

4. Ask and answer in pairs.

5.Here’re something about me, I’ll show them to you, too .

T: My name is Wei Hua. You know I’m an English teacher. Right?

Guess, who’s my favourite star?  He has strong body…..

My favourite animal is… It has long ears. It has red eyes…….

My hobbies are singing and going camping. This weekend , I’ll have a camping trip. Today, we’ll learn a new lesson: Unit 8 A camping trip .揭示课题,板书 ,领读。

Step3 :Presentation

1. T: Camping is a pleasent sporting activity. Look, what are they doing at the camping site?

S: They are climbing/cooking/playing football/dancing/flying kites…

T: So interesting! Would you like to go camping?

2.Learn the passage.

①watch and answer

T: Look! The children are having a camping trip , too. They are at a camping site. Where is the camping site? What are the children doing? Let’s watch a cartoon and find the answers.

S1: It is near the hill.

S2:They are showing their things to each other.

Teach :children, hill , show … to …

Read the questions and answers .

②read and tick

The children are showing their things to each other. What do they have? Watch again and tick the form.

③read and match

  T: How about the teachers and the twin sisters? Let’s go on reading and match.

Step4:Consolidation

1. Read the passage in different ways.

2.Discuss: How to use‘have’and‘has’.

3. Fill in the blanks and retell the text.

Liu Tao _____ a big ______ and David has a chair. What does Nancy have? She has a _____ and a ____. Helen has ______ fish and ______ chicken. Yang Ling _____ a tin-opener. Su Hai and Su Yang ____a telescope and two blankets. The teachers ____ a box of chocolates and some fruit.

4 Group work.

5.Say a short passage about your camping plan.

We’ll go camping ________ . _______,_______ and I are in a group. We’re going to _______. Look, I have _________. ________has________. _________has________. We’ll _________ there. I’m sure we’ll have a ________ time.

Step5:Homework

1.     Read and recite the passage.

2.      Talk about your camping plan to your parents.
