Teaching aims:                           
Be able to organize the ideas by using a fact file.
Be able to write an article about travelling.
To train the students’ ability of working in pairs.
To develop the students’ ability of communication.
To encourage students to travel and love the world ,love life.
Teaching procedure:
StepⅠCheck the preparation
(Ⅰ)Free talk
   1.(教师出示图片)Do you know what place it is?(Disneyland of Hongkong)
   2. What kind of park is Disneyland?
   3. Who can introduce Disneyland of Hongkong?(学生可以两人一组快速讨论迪斯尼乐园,基础相对薄弱的可以允许他们翻书去看文章)
   4.(出示庐山的图片)Can you tell me where it is?
      What can we do there?
   5.(出示深圳图片)What is famous in Shenzhen?
   6. Which season is the best season for visiting Chinese gardens?
   7. Have you ever been to any places of interest?
     Why not share your experience with us?(学生自由讨论发言,用简短的语言讲讲他们的旅游经历)
(Ⅱ)Check the prepared work
   一、根据书本P37表格内容回答以下问题
Where did Kitty and her parents go?
What’s the weather like in HongKong? What about the air?
How many places of interest did they visit? What are they?
When did they visit HongKong Disneyland? What did they do there?
On the third day, where did they go and what did they see there ?
Why did Kitty think Victoria Peak was really wonderful?
Which is the cultural center of HongKong?
What did Kitty’s mother buy in HongKong?
How did they go to Kowloon?
What did they eat in HongKongf?
(学生在小组内快速讨论这些问题,并在班内展示)
二、请找出P38文章中你认为比较难的或者你觉得比较重要的短语或句子,并在小组内讨论完成
派一名学生在黑板上板书讨论的内容,然后在班内及时展示讨论,教师做一些适当的点拨补充)
如:1.The weather in HongKong was quite different from that in Beijing.
        2. It was really wonderful to have a bird’s eye view of HongKong-a modern city of tall buildings with lights shining in the evening.
StepⅡPresentation
Ask students to read the information on page 37 loudly first.
Complete the passage on page 38
Ask them to discuss the passage in groups.(学生在小组内自由讨论,然后再通过小组分工展示)
Try to find out some important points.
Write them down on the blackboard.(小组讨论板书展示备课的相关知识点,教师可做适当地补充)

Discuss their articles in groups
Choose some of them to display.
(学生在课堂上自己开始写作,教师在班内可以不断巡视指导,如果时间足够,可以在班内展示几篇文章,一起修改,一起欣赏,也可每小组推荐一篇文章,如果时间有限,也可让学生在课后利用时间进行小组交流,可以选几篇优作在班内展示。)
