Learning aims:
be able to read and know some popular tourist attractions around the world.
be able to use important and difficult language points.
be able to talk about the topic ‘travelling’ skillfully.
Learning procedure:
STEP1. Previewing
To collect some pictures of popular places of interest around the world and know their English names.

STEP2. Practice in the class
Finish part A on page 25.
Listen to the tape carefully and do some T/F questions.
Eddie is going on a trip to the Great Wall.
Hobo will join in the trip with Eddie.
Eddie doesn’t want to let Hobo join him.
Hobo tries to bring everything with him.
Hobo will carry the bag himself.
Read after the tape and try to find out the answers to the following questions.
Where is Eddie going? Why?
What is Hobo going to do?
Is Eddie happy to take Hobo? How do you know that?
Who will take the big bag?
Is Eddie happy now? Why?
Read the comic together and fill in the blanks.
