Step 1: Warming up
T: Hi, boys and girls. First, let’s look at the blackboard. Can you think up some actions?

Step 2:Presentation
T: Look, who is him? (黑板上简笔画刘翔)
S: He is Liu Xiang.
T: Yes, he likes running and he can run fast.
T:What’s the meaning of “fast”?
S: 快。
T: Run fast?
S: 跑得快。
T:OK. Let’s run fast together. (边做动作边读)Fast, fast ,run fast !
T: Do you like running?
S1: Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.

T:What’s the meaning of “walk carefully”?(教师动作提醒)

T: Carefully, carefully, walk carefully.

T:奥运会中,拉拉队也很受欢迎。They dance beautifully and speak loudly. Here dance beautifully means 跳舞跳得很美. Now please read after me(beautifully, dance beautifully, they dance beautifully). And speak loudly means大声的喊. Now please read after me. (loudly, speak loudly, they speak loudly)
T:How about the audience? What do they do? 他们安静地坐着。
S:They sit quietly.
T:Does XXX sit quietly?
S: Yes. /No.
T:当我们表示疑问的时候,我们可以问…?
S: Does …?
T: 肯定回答 Yes,…does  否定回答 No,… doesn’t

Step 3: Practice
a) Play a game: Quick respond.
walk carefully, sit quietly, speak loudly, run fast, swim fast.
b) 哑剧表演:
一个学生做动作(单词卡),其余学生说词组walk carefully,jump high…

Step 4: Consolidation
T: Open your books and turn to Page 33 .Let’s look at the first picture together.
T: What may Mike Brown say to the girl? (中文翻译一遍)
T: Does…?
S: Does Mike jump high?
T: Look at the girl. She may say …?
S: Yes, he does.
T: The second picture.Who’s the girl? (指向Yang Ling)
S: She’s Yang Ling.
T: You ask and you answer.(第一大组问第二组回答)

T: Now look at the next two pictures. Work in pairs and make the sentences.

Step 5: Production
老师利用动作操练句型:一个学生做动作,师问:Does he/she speak loudly?
学生回答Yes, she does. /No, she doesn't. She sits quietly.

Step 6 Homework
1.抄写词组四遍,中文一遍。
2.把Part C 部分对话写在书上。
