Unit6 Review and check
一.Teaching contents and demands:
1. Words:
Family members, numbers, things for school, things in a room.
2. Daily expressions:
The expressions of asking things, persons and time, and can do plus and minus in English.
The main structures are: What’s this/that in English?
What’s this/that on/in…?
Is this/that a…?
Is he/she…?
She’s/He’s…, I think.
Who’s he/she?
What’s the time?
What’s…plus/minus…? and the answers.
3. The songs and the rhymes learned in these five units.
1> Songs: A B C song. Family song. Twenty green bottles.
2> Rhymes: It’s his key. Jack has a clock.

1. Alphabets:
Aa-Zz
2. Words:
Family members, numbers, things for school, things in a room.

What’s this/that in English?

四.The analysis of the teaching contents and students:
  In this unit, the main point is to review the words and useful expressions learned in Unit1-Unit5, and do some exercises to check if they have master them. Ss should have enough time to review then do the exercies.

Recorder,  pictures,  cards,  copybook,  workbook.
六.Teaching times:
Three lessons.
Lesson 1
一、 Teaching Aims :
1.Ss can say the times quickly and correctly.
2.Ss review the words in these units.
3.Ss review the structures learned in these units.
二、 Teaching Difficulties and important teaching points.

Recorder, pictures, phrase cards and word cards
四、 Teaching steps
Step1. Freetalk
Eg1: T:Hello,…how are you?
   Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
   T: What’s this in English”
   Ss: It’s a crayon.( Teacher show a crayon.)
   T: Can I have a look?
   Ss: Sure, here you are.
Eg2: T: What’s the time? (show Ss a clock)
S: It’s seven.
T: Let’s go to school.
S: All right.
Eg3: T: What’s one plus five? (show some numbers)
S: It’s six.
T: That’s right.
Step2. Review the words
1.Teacher show pictures, Ss say out.
2.Teacher show the word cards, Ss read.
3.Ss find out the cards what teacher says.
4.Invite individual Ss to read and say.
5.Play a game “Bingo”
Step3.Review the daily expressions
1.Show a clock, teacher turn the indicator, Ss say out the time quickly.
2.Ss ask and answer “What’s this/that?” “Who’s he/she?”, etc.
Step4. Review the numbers
1.Teacher say, Ss repeat the numbers one by one.
2.Teacher say, Ss listen and say the numbers before.
3.Ss listen and say the next numbers.
4.Teacher say “What’s one plus/minus two?”, Ss write “1+2”.
5.Ss ask and answer in pairs.
Step5. Making dialogs
1.Teacher make dialogs with Ss with learned expressions.
2.Ss make dialogs themselves.
3.Ss act their dialogs.
Step6. Homework
Ss listen to the tape of unit1-2 for at least five times. Read them till fluently.
B. Look and learn
一、 Teaching Aims :

2.Ss make dialogs on P39.
3.Ss review the alphabets.
4.Ss finish the exercises on Ss’ book and WB.

3.Ss do exercises on WB.
4.Check and correct.
Step7. Review the alphabets
1.Ss look at the alphabets and read individually.
2.Ss sing the A B C song.
Step8. Homework
Ss listen to the tape of unit3-5 for at least five times. Read them till fluently.
Unit6  Lesson 3
