二、重、难点讲解
1. See Monument to the People’s Heroes at Tian’anmen Square.在天安门广场看人民英雄纪念碑。
  the monument to sb. 表示“某人的纪念碑/纪念馆”。常见带介词to表示“……的”的短语还有：
   the key to the door.门上的钥匙
   the answer /key to the exercise 练习的答案
2. Walk slowly around the big lake and feel the beauty of the old park in the Summer Palace.在颐和园环绕大湖漫步，感受古老公园的美丽。
  (1).around是介词，意为“在……周围，环绕”
    There are a lot of trees and flowers around our school.
    在我们学校周围有许多树和鲜花。
(2).beauty这里是名词， the beauty of sth. 意为“……的美丽”
3. You can take a taxi around the centre of Beijing to learn more about old Beijing.你可以乘出租车绕北京市中心去更多地了解古老的北京。
(1).我们学过的表示交通工具的单词有：coach，plane，ship，boat， bike/bicycle， car，taxi，train，underground等。
   表示“搭乘某种交通工具”可以用“by+交通工具名称”或“take+冠词+交通工具名称”。如：
    I went to Shanghai by coach.
   = I took a coach to Shanghai.
   我乘长途汽车去上海。
   表示“骑”通常用ride，表示“驾驶”通常用drive。如：
   I usually ride a bike to school.
   我通常骑自行车上学。
   Dad drives Lily to school every day.
   爸爸每天开车送莉莉去学校。
   表示“步行去某地”，用go to 某地 on foot；walk to 某地
   She goes to work on foot.
   她步行去上班。
   He walks to school every day.= He goes to school on foot every day.
   他每天步行去上学。
(2).learn about sth.“得知……，了解……”
   I learnt about some films star from TV.
   我从电视上了解了一些电影明星
   You should learn more about China.
   你们应该更多地了解中国。
