Unit 6   Holidays教学设计与反思
教学目标:
1)掌握四个节日的英语表达Spring Festival、Halloween、 Children’s Day、Mid-Autumn Festival、people。
2)掌握句型When’s …? It’s in…  What do people usually do at/on…? They usually …和Did you … last …? Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.并能根据实际情况正确熟练地运用句型。
3)了解中西方的一些节日,并能知道不同国家和地区对于节日不同的庆祝方式。
教学重、难点:
1)掌握四个节日的英语表达Spring Festival、Halloween、
Children’s Day、Mid-Autumn Festival、people
2)重点掌握句型Did you … last …? Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.并能根据实际情况正确熟练地运用句型。

教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up.
    1. Free talk.
   1) T: Time to have class. I’m a new English teacher here. You can call me Mr. Zhou. A new teacher and new students. I don’t know you, you don’t know me. I want to know something about you.
     T: What’s your name?    S: My name is …
T: Excuse me. What day is today? S: It’s Thursday.
T: Hello! What date is it today? S: It’s the 27th of December.
T: Is today your birthday? When’s your birthday?
S: It’s on the sixth of November.
(教师板书When’s…?)
T: We also can say, it’s in November.
(教师板书It’s in…)
T: I usually do housework on Sundays. I am very tired, but I am very happy, and my wife is very happy too. What do you usually do on Sundays? (教师板书What do you usually do on…? )
S1: I usually do homework on Sundays.
S2: I usually play chess on Sundays.
(教师板书I usually…)
Did you … last Sunday? (教师板书Did you … last Sunday?
Yes ,I did/ No I didn’t)
T: Today we will learn Unit6 <<Holidays>>
  What holidays do you know?
  You are very clever,you know so many holidays!
Step 2 Presentation
T: Let’s play a game ,guess what holiday is it?
1.Spring festival           (板书)
When’s Spring festival?(板书in January or February)
2.Mid-Autumn festival(板书)
When’s Mid-Autumn festival? (板书in September or October)
3. Children’s Day(板书)
When’s Children’s Day? (板书in June)
4. Halloween(板书)
When’s Halloween? (板书in October)

3. What do people usually do on Children’s Day?
They usually sing and dance.
They usually have parties at school.
Did you have parties at school last Children’s Day?
4. What do people usually do at Halloween?
They usually dress up in costumes.
They usually go to parties.

Step 3 Consolidation
T: You can talk about the holidays,I think you also can write
Something about the holidays.Take out this paper and complete the sentences.

1. Copy the new words.
2. Write something about your favourite festivals and what you do on the festivals.


教后反思:
一、        教师是课程资源的开发者
  本节课上我在创设语境方面做了很多的努力,从开始的Free talk到最后的课堂小结,我都紧密联系教材进行设计。这一过程让我深深地体会到:教师作为课程资源的开发者,应该深钻教材,挖掘教材的潜在资源。只要用心,就有可能发现教材中的一些潜在的资源;只有用心,才能把这种潜在的资源活用。
二、        活动为课堂增添无限乐趣,活动使学生成为学习的主人
  “学生是学习的主人,教师只是课堂的组织者和参与者。”如何让学生自己主动学习,首先必须有和谐融洽的师生关系。教师要认真分析学生的差异,践行尊重、真诚、爱护、信任和帮助,让学生从老师身上获得真爱,从课堂中发现乐趣,从而积极参与,努力学习,提高学习效果。如在本课节日名称教学中,我让学生先说自己知道的节日,让学生听音乐猜节日,听描述猜节日等,都极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣和参与的热情。
三、合理运用优质教学资源光盘
  作为优质教学资源的受益者,我能够充分利用光盘,正确处理好主讲教师与现场教师的关系。
