1 search

1)search sb.搜身 They are searching him.他们正在搜他的身。

2)search sp.搜查某地  The police searched every room in the house.警方搜查了那栋房子的所有房间。

3)search for…寻找…  We are searching for the lost boy.我们正在寻找那个失踪的男孩。

4)in search of 寻找…  Some birds are in search of food.一些鸟儿寻找食物。

2 use

1)n.使用  in use在使用中  be of use=useful有用的   The railway station will be in use next year.

2)v.使用 ①use sth to do sth用某物做某事  I use a pen to write a letter.我用钢笔写信。

②be used to do sth=be used for doing sth 被用来做…

  Fire is used to keep us warm.火被用来使我们保暖。

=                for keeping us warm.

③used to do sth 过去常常做某事    I used to swim in this river.我过去常在这条河里游泳。

④be/get used to doing sth习惯于做某事  He is used to getting up early. 他习惯于早起。

3)adj. useful有用的  useless无用的    a useful/ useless book一本有益/无用的书

see sb doing sth 看到某人正在做某事（片段）

I often see him play basketball in the playground.我经常看到他在操场打篮球。

4 relax

1)v.放松 relax sb/ oneself 放松某人/自己  

This song relaxes me/ myself. 这首歌使我心情舒畅。

2)adj. relaxing令人放松的 Walking after dinner is relaxing.饭后散步很放松

     relaxed感到放松的  I feel relaxed after passing the exam.通过考试后我感到轻松。

3) help sb relax帮助某人放松  Taking exercise can help you relax.锻炼能帮助你放松。

  make sb relax/ relaxed 使某人放松/感到放松的。

  Music can make us relax./relaxed. 音乐能放松我们。

（1）做梦，梦见，梦到（常和of/about连用）dream of/about…梦到…

（2）向往；渴望；想象 dream of/about doing梦想做某事，渴望做某事

That boy dreams of becoming a pilot.  We used to dream of living abroad.

（3）dream+(that)从句，梦见；梦想 ，渴望  

I dreamt that I was on an island.   All the parents dream their children can attend college and find a good job.

	形容词	表示抽象意义，指程度上“更多，更进一步，更深一层”	If you need any further help，please call us.  如果你需要进一步的帮助，请给我们打电话。 Many parents send their children to foreign countries for further study. 很多家长送孩子去国外深造。
farther	形容词/副词	只表示距离上“更远，较远”	I can’t go any further.我再也走不动了。

1 search
